DJ Billy Bronco: BORN IN JAMAICA QUEENS RAISED IN HARLEM & THE BRONX...

Phylece: How long have you been a DJ? and what made you start?

Dj Billy Bronco: DJING SINCE 1992 .GROWING UP IN THE BRONX. SEEING THE PIONEERS DJING ON SEDGEWICK AVE. GRANDMASTER CAZ KOOL HERC GRANDMASTER FLASH..I WAS ALWAYS IN THE ESSENCE OF THE HIP HOP CULTURE.THEN SPENDING SUMMERS IN NORTH CAROLINA..I WAS AROUND THE GREATS LIKE DISCO WILLIE NIGHT TRAIN MASTER CEE SOUND MACHINE

Phylece: Since you've been in this so long, you've really had the chance to see hip hop music evolve and take shape into what it is today. What is one thing that you think has improved in hip hop culture over the years, and one thing you think could stand an improvement?

Djbillybronco: IMPROVED-MORE & MORE PEOPLE USE THE HIP HOP CULTURE ..COMMERCIALS EDUCATION. ONE THING I THINK CAN USE SOME IMPROVEMENT-MORE OUTLETS ON THE FUNDEMENTALS OF THE CULTURE..KNOWING YOUR HISTORY IS THE KEY TO HIP HOP.

Phylece: What is your goal in the industry?

Djbillybronco: TO BE A LEADER & GUIDE THOSE THAT WANT TO LEARN HOW TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS

Phylece: If you could spend one day in someone else's shoes, who would it be?

Djbillybronco: DIDDY

Phylece: What distinguishes you from the millions of other DJs out there?

Djbillybronco: IM BUILT FROM THE ESSENCE OF WHERE THE ART OF DJ BEGAN!.WHERE THE CULTURE OF HIP HOP STARTED.I HAVE A PASSION & I PLAY FROM THE HEART. ALOT OF DJs CANT SAY THAT.I STAND TRUE TO THE GAME

Phylece: What do you believe has been your biggest accomplishment so far?

Djbillybronco: NOTHING BEATS THE RESPECT I GET FROM OTHER DJs.BUT I WOULD SAY THE BIGGEST RIGHT NOW IS DOING A REALITY TV SHOW WITH DJ CLUE..IVE ALWAYS SPOKE ABOUT IT BECAUSE SO MANY SHOWS WERE COMING OUT BUT NOTHING FOR THE DJ.

Phylece: Can you tell us more about your experience so far with "Who's the DJ?"

Djbillybronco: As of now all 15 slots havethere are only 2 slots left to be filled..so taping is set to go.just like all the other reality shows..we will be in a house & our challenges will be to compete against one another.. the winner will be Dj Clue offical opening Dj for All the exclusive parties with the celebs

Phylece: How do you feel about living in a house with 14 other DJs?

Djbillybronco: NEVER BEEN IN A HOUSE LIVING WITH THAT MANY..IT WILL BE DIFFERENT. MY MAIN FOCUS IS TO DO WHAT I NEED TO & PAY ATTENTION.AT THE END OF THE DAY SOMEONE HAS TO GO HOME..I PLAN ON NOT BEING THAT ONE

Phylece: Have you ever had the urge to come from behind the DJ booth and take to the stage?

Djbillybronco: I THINK EVERY DJ HAS WANTED TO BECOME A RAPPER..IVE DONE MY LITTLE TABLET OF RHYMES BACK IN THE MID 90's BUT IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE LIKE KID CAPRI OR THE NEXT BIG KAP FATMAN SCOOP
